Great place to live and work from home.

Just moved to Arkanss earlier this year from Washington state. We are originally from the lower part of the U.S. and have lived in a few states over the last 12 years. We were already familiar with Arkansas and moving back into hot and humid weather again. There were only 3 places that we looked at in Northwest Arkansas, Bentonville, Fayetteville and Bella Vista. We did not want to live in a college town again so we skipped Fayetteville. We picked Bella Vista to buy a home over Bentonville because of all the outdoor activities. Bella Vista has lots of really good bicycle trails and hiking trails and all the lakes and golf courses and restaurants. And we got a house with no other houses on top of it, unlike the homes we could afford in Bentonville. The area was originally a resort community In the 1950’s. We bought our home over the summer of 2021 which means we probably overpaid because home prices are over inflated. Bella Vista is also very quite. The only reason I would say it’s not a good place to live is if you go to clubs or out to drink all the time, not much of that in the area.
